This is an easy jacket/sweater pattern! It is knit side to side starting at the underarm. Although it is knit flat, not in the round, the number of stiches you need for the body requires a circular needle.

The sleeves are picked up at the shoulder and knit down to the cuff, so you can try it on for perfect sleeve length! The front bands are double knit.

Materials:
14 skeins Noro’s Kureyon or Silk Garden
29” Circular needles US size 8 or 9 (whichever gets you the gauge)

Difficulty:
Beginner

Gauge:
15 sts & 27 rows/4 inches in moss stitch, blocked (16 sts & 28 rows/4 inches
unblocked)

Sizing:
44” chest (because the fronts overlap the closure is adjustable and therefore the garment size is very flexible so it accommodate different body types)
Length shoulder to bottom-24”

Sizing Notes:
This is an easy sweater to make smaller or larger in the chest, or to shorten or lengthen. To lengthen or shorten, simply add or subtract to the bottom edge 4 sts for each inch you want to change it. To make the chest 1 size smaller or larger, subtract or add 8 rows of pattern for each inch you want to change it. You could also work this pattern in a smaller gauge such as Silk Garden Lite.
