Inglewood Cardigan
ABOUT
This cardigan would make a great first crochet garment project! It is comprised of 5 panels: 1 back panel, 2 front panels, and 2 sleeves.
All pieces are worked in flat rectangles. It is meant to be a very beginner-friendly piece, and has a simple 1-row stitch pattern that will be easily grasped after the first couple rows. The great thing about this pattern is that it is definitely a boxy cardigan (made of all rectangles) with zero shaping - but it doesn’t look boxy at all when worn. The open stitch pattern gives it a light, lacy appearance rather than a stiff, shapeless appearance that crochet sweaters sometimes have.
A schematic is included to clarify where to seam and which panels to seam together.
This pattern is #sizeinclusive, fitting up to 5X. I want every body to be able to wear this! It has been tested to ensure the best fit. If you happen to fall outside this sizing range, please send me an email and I will help you achieve the best fit for your measurements.
This pattern has been tech edited to be as correct as possible. If you find any discrepancies or have any questions at all, please email me @ knitsnknotswpg@gmail.com
