My first ever published Ravelry pattern and I’m so excited :)

Ingrid’s Shrug was named for the beautiful soul who inspired and commissioned this custom piece. A lovely and light spring/summer weight shrug, or a warmer autumn/fall weight shrug with a simple change of yarn. A wonderful, simple and elegant layer for when you need a little warmth over your shoulders and arms. Bonus, you can also wear it as a scarf!

This project is perfect if you like the feather and fan effect of Old Shale lace, and can be modified to suit different sizes and lace patterns for those who like to play with modifying patterns. Also a great introduction to seaming if you enjoy or are learning to making garments.

Experience level: Advanced beginner/intermediate.
You can knit in stockinette stitch, and 2x2 ribbing, you also have some experience or ready to learn tubular cast on/off, blocking and seaming.
