The Ingun Sweater is an oversize turtleneck sweater. The body and sleeves are knit in a cable pattern, with ribbing along the chest and back. The front and back are knit separately, then joined at the armholes and knit in the round until the split twisted rib. The shoulders are shaped using german short-rows. Sleeves and turtleneck are knit from picked up stitches. The sleeves are finished with a twisted rib, as well as decreases that follow the cable-pattern for a light balloon-effect.

Sizes:
XS (S) M (L).

Bust Width:
108 (120) 133 (146) cm.
The sweater should have an ease of 25 to 35%. This means that if you measure 102 cm around your bust – or your widest point – you should knit a size M, which has a bust width of 133 cm, which will give you an ease of 30% (or 31 cm).

Suggested Yarn:
750 (800) 900 (950) g Snældan 3-ply (130m/50g).

Gauge:
31 sts x 30 rows in the cable pattern from chart A on needles 4 mm, or whichever needed to obtain gauge = 10 x 10 cm.

Suggested Needles:
4 mm circular needles (40 and 100/120 cm), 3.5 mm circular needles (40 and 100/120 cm), and a cable needle.

Please note that the yarn amounts for sizes M and L are estimates, as the sizes have not been tested.
