Inspired by the stitch patterns of traditional Aran sweaters, the blanket is knit flat in separate squares which are sewn together and a ribbed border added to finish. It gives the prefect introduction to cables as each square is knit separately, allowing you to practice in small pieces. What’s more you can use up leftover yarn, using colours of your choice.
