Inkivääri (Ginger in finnish) Cowl is a simple cowl with turtleneck collar.
It’s really quick and enjoyable to knit as it’s knitted with double yarn and rather big needle size.
First the front and back panels are knitted flat from tip upwards.
Then the collar is knitted round after the shoulder seaming.

Pattern includes charts and pattern in written form.

Sizes:
One size
Width 38 cm / 17” from shoulder to shoulder.
Length without collar 25 cm / 9”
Collar height 12 cm / 5”

Gauge:
20 sts, 28 rows 1K,1P rib = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches with 5 mm needles before blocking

Needles:
5 mm / 8 US circular needles 40 cm / 16 inches
Additional 5 mm /8 US DPN or 5 mm / 8 US circular needles 60 cm / 24 inches for knitting shoulders and storing stitches.
Wooden / Bamboo needles are recommended

Required Skills:
Cast on, purls and knits, decreases as skp and 2tog, bind off.
