Notes
Sweater body is knit in 4 panels, flat from the bottom up. After seaming body, sleeves are picked up and worked in the round from the top down. Sleeve caps are shaped with short rows. Neck is knit in the round, folded over and sewn to the inside.
Slip stitch colorwork is worked by alternating between 2 rows or rounds with MC and 2 rows or rounds with the CC. Yarn used is indicated at the start of each row. Always slip with the yarn in back on RS rows or when knitting in the round, and with yarn in front on WS rows, so that floats are hidden on the WS of work.
The body panels are written with a 1 st garter selvedge at each edge (knit on both RS and WS). Re-establish the selvedges whenever possible after shaping is complete - they are particularly important for the mosaic stitch panels.
It is very important to check row gauge of Front panel, Back panel and Side panel since they are seamed together.

Note
セーターの身頃は4つのパネルでできていて, 裾から上に 向かって往復編みで編む. 身頃を接いだ後, 袖の目を拾い 輪で袖に向かって編む. 袖山は引き返し編みで形作る. 襟 は輪で編み, 二つ折りにして内側に綴じつける.
すべり目の編み込み模様はMCの2段(周)とCCの2段(周)を 交互に編まれている. 使用する糸は, 各段の始めで示され ている. 渡り糸を裏側に隠すために, RS段では常に編み地 の後ろ側で糸を渡し, WS段では手前側で糸を渡す.
身頃のパネルには, 両端に1目のガーター編みの端目が 書かれている (RS, WSともにK). 端目があることにより, シェイプを整えやすくなる.
フロントパネル, バックパネルとサイドパネルをはぎ合わ せる関係上, 各パネルの縦ゲージを正確に把握することが 大切である.
