Innana
Innana is the Sumerian goddess of heaven, beauty, passion, fertility and abundance. She is famed for her loveliness
and her lapis lazuli necklace, formed from the stars.
The body pattern of this shawl outlines Innana’s necklace, and the border the stars over which she rules. Use it to
keep the oncoming chill of the approaching winter at bay, as you walk the streets as a modern-day goddess on Earth.
This shawl is worked from the top down, and the stitch patterns for the body and edging are charted.
Note: BWM have discontinued Luxury in this colour. If you would like a similar colour, I recommend ‘Lake’, in the same yarn.
