Welcome to inner child jumper!

Inner Child jumper is designed to remember myself to be authentic. I combined lace & cables and colourwork how I love it the most. Trusting my intuition was the beginning of this sweater.
It’s designed to be knitted top down and It’s worked seamlessly. It’s kind of compound raglan design, my attempt to achieve great fit above all sizes.

Starting with a double folded neckband, the pattern sts are imbedded on the front panel and sleeves. The sleeves are rather wide at the beginning and becomes slim to the underarm.
With the technique double stitch, you can create a decorative colourwork on the top of your garment. If you want to go down to the sleeves or just add a little bit of accent, it’s your choice.
The chart for the front panel should be printed on a A3 paper, otherwise you can try to work on a tablet.

20 sts x 25 rows in stockinette with 4mm needles

Needles
Mainly 4mm needles, for the hem 3,5mm needles

Circumference of the finished sweater:

36 (40) 42 (43) 48 ‘‘
Pick a size with 5-20cm (2-8 ‘‘) positive ease

Yarn

1. original yarn (white/beige one) : alpacotton by betta knit. -165m/50g approx 5 (6) 6 (7) 7 skeins
2. sample (blue) is knitted in : le lambswool by biches et búches. -170m/50g 6 (7) 7 (8) 9 skeins

Yardage : 820m (920m) 990m (1060m) 1170m
If you are knitting with other yarn than alpacotton, you will need more yarn. For a same knit you will need approx. one skein of yarn more. In the yardage, it is included, and that’s why you need more lambswool than the bettaknit.

For the sleeve accent, you will need one skein of different coloured yarn, this is not included in the yardage. You will need approx 65g of a skein, when you do all accents points from the shoulder to sleeve end. The yardage is based on a rather short sweater for total length of 50cm. If you want to make it longer, you will need more yarn.

After the short rows section the front panel is charted for each size.

Unfortunately I hade to remove 2XL and 3XL sizes, because I couldn‘t find any testers.
