In United Kingdom, Innocent started putting little hats on their smoothies back in 2003, giving 25p to Age UK for every behatted bottle sold: it is The Big Knit or “Little hats, Big difference” operation.

• Finished measurements: approx 5.5” (14 cm) circumference, approx 2 3/8” (6 cm) depth.
• Knit in fingering weight yarn or light sportweight yarn.
• Back-and-forth knitting with small remnants of yarns.
• Very easy-to-do slipped st pattern.
• 2 pompoms: a usual one, made with a fork, and a knitted pompom.

Note about shetland lace: it is knitted 2 strands held together.
