I’ve received a few requests to write patterns for my innocent big knit hats, by far and a way the most popular being the Fox. So I set to work and wrote it up. It’s my first pattern so be gentle. If you spot any mistakes do let me know and I will correct them asap!

Gauge is not important for this project.

Special skills:

Intarsia or alternatively you could duplicate stitch the tummy onto the front of the hat.

You will need:

DK yarn in your chosen foxy colour,
A small amount of DK yarn in a contrasting colour.
4mm needles straights or DPN’s.
2 4mm black beads or a scrap of black DK yarn for the eyes.
Needle and thread.
A darning needle.
