The Inscribed Basket uses post stitches to inscribe patterns on top of a sc background. These decorative baskets can be used to organize your kitchen, bathroom, or living area.

The pattern is written for several different size diameters and the height can be increased for a taller basket. The baskets can be worked with a wide range of yarn weights, or multiple strands of yarn.

Size: Will vary based on yarn weight and number of strands.

• With one strand of worsted weight cotton yarn: The large basket is approximately 8.5” in diameter and 6.5” tall. The medium basket is approximately 6.5” in diameter and 6.5” tall. The small basket is approximately 4.25” in diameter and 6.5” tall.
• With two strands of worsted cotton yarn: The large basket is approximately 12” in diameter and 8.5” tall. The medium basket is approximately 9” in diameter and 8.5” tall. The small basket is approximately 6” in diameter and 8.5” tall.
• Instructions are included to increase the height of the baskets and to adapt the pattern for several different size baskets.

I made the baskets with worsted weight cotton. With one strand, the small basket used approximately 70 g and the large basket used approximately 150 g.

The baskets have been tested with different yarn weights and with multiple strands of yarn.
