This easy-to-knit cap was inspired by Abundant Earth Fiber’s lovely yarn. A simple traveling twist mimics the look of a larger cable, and is stretchy enough to accommodate a range of noggins. Weave in ends with care, and you have a fully reversible hat!

Note: Aviary is listed in Ravelry’s database. Abundant Earth Fiber does Aviary as a small batch yarn, and what I used in this pattern was--as noted here--aran weight. If substituting, use an aran or heavy worsted.
