Inspiration Wharf Knit Shawl
Materials:
DK Weight Yarn – 3 colors / 230 yards each
SHOWN:
Color A: Studio 54 by Asylum Fibers
Color B: Creepy Graffiti by Asylum Fibers
Color A: Trepidation by Asylum Fibers
US 8 / 5mm Knitting Needles
Tapestry needle to weave ends
Tape Measure
Finished measurements BEFORE blocking: 64” x 41” x 41” (will grow considerably with blocking)
Wet blocking serves this design best
GAUGE: 4” sq = 17 sts x 24 rows in garter stitch
*** Gauge is not particularly important for this pattern.
It matters more to have a fabric that you will like. It is meant to be stitched loosely.
This pattern is written in sections.
Each color change marks a new section and rows are written as such,
There is a picot BO option at the end. You can see from the two illustrations above how the shawl looks with a regular bind off or with the picot bind off and complete as you prefer.
You will have some extra yarn. Tassels are fun.
If you would like to add rows with your extra yarn I suggest following the color sequence.
