While designing the patterns for the book “Vettlingar Mittens” published 2012, Margret Maria Leifsdottir was under the influence of some of her favorite contemporary fashion designers. In particular she admired their use of patterns along with unusual and fresh color combination and so she interpreted a few outfits into patterns for mittens.

The mittens are one size wtih a fairly simple stranded pattern as only one or two colors are used at the same time.

You can use any fingering weight yarn to fit gauge
15 stitches x 20 rounds on 3mm needles = 5x5 cm
Mittens are 8.5 cm wide and 26 cm long including cuff.
