Intarsia Heart Bag

I decided to knit myself a bag after months and months of trying to find one I liked in the shops or on line. They were either to big and heavy or they kept slipping off of my shoulder. Once I’d made the decision to make my own bag I got excited, as I was free to
make it exactly how I wanted. Unfortunately for me my Grand daughter loved it too!

The intarsia design is not to complicated and the two side pockets are deep enough to push my house keys in without worry of them falling out. I’ve lined my bag as I wanted to give it more structure and I have outlined how I did it in the pattern should you decide to line yours too.

Knitted in Aran on 5mm needles it knits up really fast and was a nice easy project which I hope you’ll enjoy. The Intarsia pattern isn’t to complicated but I would still recommend using bobbins to hold your yarn while working to avoid tangles.
