Great first Intarsia project.
Step-by-step Intarsia instructions are included in the pattern.

The cushion cover is knitted from the bottom up as one piece and you need to seam only on the sides --- designed for minimum seaming. 3 buttons are attached on the back side of cushion for security closure and makes it easy to remove the cover.

Bigger gauge - 12 sts / 4” is super quick to knit.

The suggested yarns are all doubled throughout except Spud & Chloe “Outer”. Please check the yardage carefully.

YARN
You have a choice to use a single yarn or doubled.
The doubled yarn makes a nice dense knitted fabric.

Single yarn - Chunky or Bulky yarn / Gauge 12sts /4”
Doubled yarn - Aran or Heavy worsted weight yarn

• MC – With a single yarn 100 yards. With doubled yarn total 200 yards.
• CC – With a single yarn 100 yards. With doubled yarn total 200 yards.

NEEDLES
Long straight needles or 24” (or longer) circular needles.
Main needles and smaller needles.

Suggested needle size:
• Main needles
Single yarn – US 10 or 10.5
Doubled yarn – US 9 or 10
• Smaller needles (for ribbing)
One size smaller than the main needles.

Please adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.

EXTRA SUPPLIES
• Buttons - 3 x 1”diameter main buttons and 3 x 0.5” diameter backing buttons (to support larger button from behind knitting).
• Cushion insert – 12” x 12”
• Sewing thread (or floss) for attaching buttons.
