The pattern includes gauges for stabdard, mid-gauge and bulky machines using # 1-2, 3, 4 weight yarn. Also required is a little bit if Lion Fun Fur yarn. No ribber needed. The pompom is knitted right onto the hat so it’s very secure. White hat is standard gauge, multi colored hat is mid-gauge.
