A simple rectangle shawl made with filet crochet. The pattern features 2 variants and how to make them in rows and rounds if a loop shawl is what you are looking for.
The filet parts form an open rectangle encapsulating a solid rectanlge rotated by 90 degrees. The solid rectangle sends out beams in all 4 cardinal points connecting it with other solid
rectangles.

Maintaining my exact gauge is not necessary for this pattern! You can use whatever yarn wheight with the according hook.
