Interlocked Cable Cowl
The Interlocked cable cowl is an artistic representation of our journey on earth, it is about the inexplicable pull we have towards specific people, places, and things -for me it is about what it means to live the life you have always held deep in your heart. It is a celebration of all those who have given to me in my journey, it is a celebration of true relationship, with ourselves, with others and the world. To represent the often-unexpected curves and turns that we must face in our lives, and the inexplicable journey, the cowl features an intricate maze of alternating and mirrored cables.
I would love to see your versions of the interlocked cable cowl and please feel free to tag me.

Materials:
• One 4mm / US size 6 circular needle, 50cm / 20” in length, or size needed to obtain gauge.
• One cable needle.
• 4 (5) stitch markers, one of which is used to mark the beginning of round.
• Tapestry needle for sewing in threads.
• Blocking materials.
• Approximately 242m / 265 yds (303m / 331 yds) of worsted-weight yarn. The sample is shown in size 1 and is worked in Malabrigo Worsted - 100% merino wool, in the colourway Ravelry Red.
Gauge:
25 stitches and 32 rounds = 10cm / 4” in cable knitting, knitted in the round, and blocked. While gauge is not crucial for this project, knitting to gauge will ensure that your knitted item is the stated size, and that yardage requirements are like those stated in the pattern.
Size:
Two sizes, 1 (2), approximately 51cm / 20” (64 cm / 25”) in circumference and 27cm / 10.5” in height. The width is easily adaptable by adding multiples of 32 stitches.
