Yarn Used:
MC = one 50g ball Wendy Merino pure ultra soft wool DK in Russet Brown

Needles:
3.5mm circular hat needle
2.75mm circular hat needle
3.75mm Double Pointed needles are not essential but might be useful for finishing the crown shaping

Finished Size:
Circumference of 16”/40cm unstretched; Height of 9”/23cm

Gauge:
36st by 30 rows = 10cm in twist stitch pattern (cast on 38 stitches and repeat twist stitch pattern 3 times with knit st selvedge edge)

Extra Information:
If you want to alter the circumference of the hat, the twist pattern has an 8 st repeat so you can change the number of cast on stitches by adding or subtracting multiples of 8. To make the hat taller you can repeat the chart more times. The chart can be worked in a flat knit if you have the odd rows as the Wrong Side and so read in the opposite direction.
