This hat is completely reversible, and very nearly magic. (wink) This pattern uses a chainless foundation row, chain free ”turning” stitches, and interlocking crochet.

Approximate gauge in interlocking double crochet pattern after blocking = 23 sts, 20 rows x 4” (10cm). The hat should fit most adults.

-US E (3.5 mm) crochet hook
-US F (3.75 mm) crochet hook
-Approximately 275 yds of sport weight yarn, divided into at least two colors. I used de rerum natura Ulysse in colors Plume and Printemps.
-Tapestry needle and scissors for finishing
