Interlocking AbSq Cowl
This AbSq Cowl pattern is made by using the Interlocking filet crochet technique and is reversible, therefore gives you two different designs (one on each side). This is an easy pattern for beginners to do.
Yarn used is Loops & Thread Soft & Shiny and Red Heart Stripes.
Hook size suggested is 4mm. Depending on your tension this may need to be adjusted up or down in size.
Note: In this Pattern the arrows are there to alert you to which two rows form your “pattern” row. They are not directional arrows, as you will work this pattern in the round (circle). You do not turn your work, you are always looking at the front of the pattern.
Definition of Interlocking Crochet: Interlocking Crochet is a method of crocheting and interlocking two layers of filet crochet-style mesh sheets in such a way that the two layers are woven together to create a single, reversible fabric. Depending on the stitch used, it can create the same pattern on the front and back or two completely separate designs on the front and back
