The Internal Chaos Scarf Pattern is crocheted with Medium Weight Yarn and a 5.5 mm (I) hook. This crocheted scarf has a fun nubby texture and is very easy to customize to different lengths and widths.
This is the first time I have used Caron Jumbo Yarn and it has become a new favorite for me. I love how the yarn is full (not flat) and it has structure (it isn’t too soft to hold it’s shape). The Ombre version of the yarn takes all the guesswork out of which colors go well with each other and transitions seamlessly (no extra ends to sew in) between them.
I picked a neutral color base for this month’s scarf and hat patterns. This pretty textured stitch is created by working single crochet stitches and treble crochet stitches. Simple and effective - and yes it is reversible :)
The 2021 Internal Chaos Scarf is my April Scarf of the Month Crochet Along (CAL) pattern. Stay tuned for the matching hat pattern next week which uses the same yarn and hook.
