Interplait Vest
This long, modern vest is completely seamless, worked flat from the bottom up, and features compelling textures in easily executed stitches. This is not a fussy knit – simple shaping and raw edges make up a piece that is engaging and enjoyable.
I’ve become more interested in designs that are somewhat modular in that they can be transformed by the wearer. The ladder in the back can be left open and hang freely which is more on edge and relaxed for warmer weather, it can be picked up from the hem for a neat, uniform fabric, or it can be picked up in the middle and worked up to the collar so that the bottom drapes open while the top pulls in to fit neatly across the shoulders. I love the versatility this design element brings to an otherwise simple article.
