Intersection Tote
A completely creative take on plaid, this bag incorporates double-crochet tapestry work to amazing effect. It’s worked in the round beginning from the base and all the way up to a folded upper edge. No detail has been spared in this striking piece!

Yarn Weight 4
Finished Size 15½“ wide and 12½’’ tall, excluding handle.
Yarn Nako Denim (distributed by Plymouth Yarn) (60% cotton, 40% acrylic; 218 yd 200 m/3½ oz 100 g): #1583 red (MC), 2 balls; #0070 light grey (CC), 1 ball.
Hook Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions 13” × 1½“ strips of corrugated plastic, 2; yarn needle.
Gauge 15 sts and 8 rows = 4” in dc.

NOTES
- To change colors, work to last yarnover in old color, pick up new color, and complete stitch with new color.
