Intertidal
Balanced asymmetry from any perspective, whether a dynamic confluence or a quiet shift of color. The slight crop, boxy shape, ribbed details, and three-quarter sleeves keep it effortless.
Notes
- This sweater is knit flat in two contrasting colored pieces. Shoulder stitches are joined with a 3-needle BO and then the two pieces are seamed together. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, using short rows to shape a modified drop shoulder. Neckband stitches are picked up and worked in the round.
- Don’t be deterred by the seams! These are the easiest and quickest two seams you will ever sew. They are straight and vertical. The body pieces are worked with ribbed edges and tidy selvedges, so that even without blocking the edges to be seamed will lie flat and even.
- It is easy to modify the length of the body for a less cropped silhouette. A note in the pattern indicates when to add extra rows.
