Melissa is one of the first people I ‘met’ when I joined Ravelry, and while many groups we mingled in are no longer active, our friendship has grown stronger over the years and it was the most wonderful moment when we first met in person at Indie Untangled. I chose this stitch pattern which resembles interwoven stripes as a symbol of how close we’ve become even though there are thousands of miles between us.

The sock pattern, which is knitted from the top down and features heel flap and gusset, comes in three sizes to fit leg circumference: S - 17.5 cm (7”), M - 20 cm (7.75”) and L - 22.5 cm (8.75”). Leg length and foot length are adjustable.

You can choose to work the textured pattern either from the charts or the written instructions. The textured pattern is continued onto the heel flap.

Material: 1 skein of fingering weight yarn with a yardage of approximately 400 m (440 yds) per 100 g.
Notions: 2 stitch markers, darning needle.
