Into the Fire Shawl
This listing is for a PDF instant download of the Into the Fire Shawl Crochet Pattern, named after the song by Asking Alexandria (acoustic version is my favorite)!
This shawl looks great in just about any yarn you can block (to help open up those unique circular spaces). The pattern instructs on how to make the shawl with weight 1 and 2 yarn specifically, but also gives easy details on how to customize to any size desired so you can use whatever yarn you like, making this a great stash-buster!
The pattern also gives details on how to make a scarf, too, with just one hank of Yarntuary weight 1 yarn!
The combination of stitches is mesmerizing and both sides of this shawl are pretty. It is the perfect fall garment to wear out and show off so hurry up and make one :)
Pattern is written with clear and concise detail and has plenty of pictures. The shawl is made in one piece and consists mostly of repeat rows. There is a bonus section included at the end of the pattern with step-by-step instructions and pictures given for ALL STITCHES used in the pattern, such as ch, sl st, sc and hdc.
Material Options:
-One hank of Miss Babs Keira Heavy Fingering Yarn (100% Superwash Merino Wool, 560 yds, Weight 2) in colorway Clownfish (made orange shawl in pictures) or try another fun color (yarn is bouncy and has great stitch definition) and size D (3.0 mm) crochet hook
-Two hanks of Yarntuary Fingering/Sock Yarn (400 yds ea.) and size E (3.5 mm) crochet hook. Shown in pictures is 80% Merino Wool, 20% Nylon in colorways Wild Thing (pink and orange shawl) and Astronaut in the Ocean (blue and orange scarf). If would rather make a scarf, only need one hank of yarn!
Will also need scissors and a tapestry needle (to weave in ends).
Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions!
