This pattern is a square shawl design. It is worked from the top down with 4 sections worked at once. There is 8 increases every right side row and upon finishing you end up with about 498 stitches on your needles.

You can adjust the size if you like making it larger or smaller by either increasing or decreasing the leaf pattern chart 2.

I used the Zen Yarn Garden Serenity 20 yarn which is a very nice fingering weight but you can substitute any fingering weight yarn you have or like. I used about 1200 yards of yarn, 3 skeins.
