Opposites attract in Inverted Stripes, a simple spring shawl full of texture and mindless stitching. Inverted Stripes is a slim triangular shawl design. Sample was knit beginning with lightest of the fade, and having the center of the shawl be the darkest, then reversing backwards to the end. A simple I-Cord bind off and edging creates a perfect border.

Tips and Tricks
If knitting with fingering weight yarn you can double strand to match the dk weight gauge, knit with a single strand for a lace like fabric, or downsize to a US size 3 needle. If downsizing your needle, increase rows between increases by two total rows per each section to acquire a similarly sized shawl.
