This no-nonsense shawl was designed with the knitter in mind. You can use most any weight of yarn, and modify the pattern to whatever size you please, plus it works well with everything from a solid to a hand-painted yarn. The extended half-hexagon shape of this shawl allows it to drape easily and stay in place over your shoulders. It can easily be blocked into a more rounded shape if you desire.

Gauge is not crucial in this pattern. It is much more important that you get a fabric you are happy with, preferably one with a bit of drape.

Size is determined by your yarn choice, and the number of repeats in the body of the shawl.
