This pattern is available from woollyoriginals.com for £2.50.

This pattern is suitable as a sleeve for an iPad Mini or a Samsung Tab. It is knit in the round using either double pointed needles (DPNs) or the Magic Loop technique. The sleeve is knitted in one piece similar to a long cowl. The inner single-colour section is knitted first, followed by a picot fold line, and then the outer colourwork section.

You will need 3 balls of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift wool: 1 ball for the Pine trees and 2 balls for the background.

Techniques needed to knit this project include: colourwork in two colours; knitting using the Magic Loop technique or DPNs; Judy’s Magic Cast On; working a “yarn over”; and casting off by grafting using Kitchener Stitch. If you are unsure of any of these techniques, refer to the section entitled “Techniques” on my website, woollyoriginals.com for recommendations on books, blogs and online tutorials.
