It just takes a small amount of yarn for this project.
Mitten is approximately 2¼“ x 4½” and is an“easy” level.

I created this Houndstooth Check Crochet stitch back in 2005 and I could not find a crochet st like it anywhere. I designed a scarf in this stitch for my book, Crochet That Fits. After the book was published, I started seeing this stitch everywhere.
