Ipomoea Purpurea is a classic style triangular shawl / wrap, knitted flat from the center top down to the lace border. Geometrically, it consists of 2 triangles, which are mirroring each other and split with the central “braid” or stitch.

Skill level: intermediate
Original yarn: 150 g of any lace weight 100% wool, 550 m (601 yd) per 100 g skein (previous Dundaga 6/1 lots characteristics).

You may use any natural fiber yarn in suggested yardage to substitute.

Circular knitting needles US 6 (4 mm) 39’’ (100 cm) length cable.
Notions: crochet hook / spare needle, some waste yarn.
