The Irene Sweater is an oversized dropped shoulder sweater with a continuous textured-stripe pattern. It is a top-down construction; the yoke is worked flat and joined in the round for the body. Sleeves are also worked in the round. There are two hem options: split or regular – the choice is yours!

This pattern is named after my Nana Irene who taught me how to knit as a child and where my knitting journey truly began.

This pattern has been professionally graded and tech edited by the wonderful Rebecca Williamson. The Irene Sweater has also been fully test knitted across all sizes by a very talented group of test knits (a massive thank you to you all!).

Please note that this pattern consists of one pdf file, totalling 15 pages. The file is formatted for A4 paper. This pattern includes written instructions, a link to private video tutorial, summary of textured pattern as a chart, and illustrations.
