Se han utilizado las abreviaturas en inglés para simplificar
y unificar con el sistema internacional de brioche de Nancy

CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este chal (o estola) es rectangular oblicuo, se comienza tejiendo
por un lateral y va creciendo hasta el contrario, pudiéndose alargar
todo lo que se desee.

oz), tejidas a doble hebra.
Los colores utilizados son el Mustard
(principal), y el Sweet Kiss y el Oatmeal
(contraste) para la versión dorado/fucsia/
blanco y el Saffron (principal), y el Dusty
Pink y el toffee (contraste) para la versión
coral/rosa/ocre oscuro.
AGUJAS
Agujas circulares de 3.75 mm US 5 con
cable de 60 cm 24”, o las necesarias
para obtener la muestra de tensión (sin

this shawl. A description of the stitches is provided in the abbreviations,
which have been used in lower case in this particular pattern
in order to unify the writing style with the international brioche
knitting system established by Nancy Marchant.
CONSTRUCTION
This is an angled rectangular shawl, which is started to knit on a
side and growing towards the other side, you can knit it as long as
you wish.

GAUGE
21 stitches and 24 rows in 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4”
in brioche stitch, before blocking.
YARN
1 (2) skeins in main colour and 1 skein in
each of the 2 contrast colours of Baby
Yak Lace by Myak Fibres (100% Baby Yak;
350 m / 50 g; 370 yd / 1.76 oz) each colour
worked held double.
The colourways used are the Mustard
(main), and the Sweet Kiss and the Oatmeal
(contrast) for the golden/fuchsia/
white version, and the Saffron (main), and
the Dusty Pink and the toffee(contrast)
for the coral/pink/ochre version.
NEEDLES
3.75 mm US 5 circular needles with a cable
length of 60 cm 24”, or the required
needle size to obtain gauge (without
blocking).
