This is my Iridescent Rainbow Blanket Crochet Pattern - nicknamed the c2c twist!

I love the effect of a c2c (corner to corner) blanket but I am not always keen on the colours having to be in diagonal stripes. This new c2c twist is worked using the same stitch as a c2c blanket but it’s worked in straight rows instead of from corner to corner (no increasing or decreasing).

The finished blanket measures approximately 90 cm by 175 cm but you can, of course, make this any size you wish by simply using the stitch count given within the pattern.

I made the blanket in the photos using Stylecraft Special DK but it works equally as well in any weight yarn providing the same is used throughout.

I find that this is such a soothing pattern to work, after the initial chains and first row its a lovely pattern repeat which you’ll easily memorise and be able to work the rows away. Both US and UK terminology patterns are included. Please ensure you check which one you are working from.

This pattern is for a borderless blanket but you can, of course, add your own border should you choose to do so.

The pattern includes many photos to aide with the placement of stitches but it is not a complete step by step photo tutorial, it is a written pattern and not a chart.
