Irina
Irina is also available as part of the 5 pattern e-book collection, Wool, book two.
For Irina, I found a simple garter-and-slip stitch pattern that swatched up beautifully in Chickadee. I love cowl neck sweaters and I thought that this sturdy yet pretty texture stitch would be perfect for a cowl neck in this light-weight yarn. The body is worked in stockinette stitch from the top down in one piece with neck and waist shaping. The cowl collar is picked up around the neck edge and worked from the neck up in the pattern stitch.
