Did Greek goddesses ever feel cold? Did they need shawls or wraps?
Most of them probably did not.
Some of them, however…
Let’s take Iris, the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. She was a busy goddess, running errands and delivering messages. From snowy peak of the Olympus to the underworld and back, just imagine the thermal shock!
What is more, Iris was in a relationship with Zephyrus, the god of the west wind. If this does not prove that she needed a wrap, I do not know what does!
Here is a wrap for Iris and for all women who have to stand temperature changing from 5 degrees in the morning to 30 degrees at midday.

Iris combines diagonal sections of relatively easy lace stitch, often used for edgings, with rippled rainbow stripes.
