Iris a top down seamless yoked tunic dress
by Katy Farrell
This is a great way to use up that special skein of sock yarn to knit a thin yet warm tunic dress for your little one - it can begin life as a dress and as baby grows it can become a tunic top. The neckline is wide and has a drawstring so it can be gathered when baby is small and then loosened as baby grows. With 6 sizes this is a pattern that can grow with your baby too. All you will need is 100 - 250g of 4 ply sock yarn and 2.5mm circular needles (or DPNs). Knit it in cotton for the summer and wool for cooler days - great for layering too!
