Iris Brioche Cable Sweater
This is a condensed pattern written for you to modify according to your measurements & design preferences, using your gauge.
Iris is a bottom-up knitted sweater in both 1-color & 2-color brioche with shaped waist, fitted set-in stockinette stitch sleeves, staghorn brioche cables up the center front & back, & a slight funnel neck finished with a stretchy bind-off. The garment has a snug fit with ~2” negative ease throughout. Depending on your preference, this garment can also be modified into a relaxed fit version with positve or no ease.
This pattern assumes that you know the basics of 1-color & 2-color brioche in the round, left-slanting 2 st decrease (brLsl), right-slanting 2 st decrease (brRsl), brioche 2 st increase (brkyobrk), 2-color brioche knitted flat, & how to BO appropriately for the brioche st.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate/Advanced.
The sample size shown is an XS & weighed about 350 g.
Pattern written to fit all sizes, modified according to your measurements. Sample size XS shown stretches to fit 32” chests, 26” waists, & 36” hips.
