Iris Nebula is a knit cabled hat, worked in the round from the bottom up.

The pattern is written for two sizes – adult women and adult men, finished measurements: 45 (53) cm / 17 (20 ¾)” circumference; 22 (25) cm / 8 ½ (9 ¾)“ tall, with a note how to adjust the size, if needed.

The purple sample is made from a handspun yarn (11 wpi, DK equivalent) and the gray sample is made from a commercial DK weight yarn. The hat is worked in an all-over cable stitch pattern and uses different easy cable turns over 2/3/4 stitches with knits and purls, so it’s a great project for all cable lovers - small enough and not too engaging in the same time.
