This crochet band is made with 100% linen 3-ply yarn. Linen has a very rustic look and I find it works very well for all sorts of home décor items. The glasses that I use for the tealight holder are completely straight sided and measure 7.3 cm in diameter. The pattern in the band casts beautiful shadows on the surrounding walls and surfaces.
