The Irish Cabled Poncho is worked in two identical panels and seamed together. This pattern is an 8 row repeat, with cables only worked on rows 3 and 7. These cables are small and simple. The collar is worked separate in two small pieces that start with 12 rows of Wrap & Turn Short Rows, then seamed to the completed poncho. This also makes the collar optional. The pattern is written and charted and also has some photos to help with construction.
