Irish Cathedral
This design was inspired by a beautiful stained glass window I saw in the Galway Cathedral in Ireland
The shawl consists of 6 identical segments. It is knit in the round until the circular border is reached. The points are knit back and forth. The pattern is charted.
It has 4 different lace pattern representing the glass areas and uses twisted stitches for texture in the frame.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 40 inch diameter circle; 46 inches point to point,
