This beautiful cabled pattern is for an Irish Christmas Stocking. The finished large stocking is ~27” x 8.5” and the small is 22” x 8”. The stocking is knitted using worsted weight wool using a 5.5 mm (3.5 mm) circular needle. Traditionally a solid colour is used (grey, cream, white, etc.) but be creative!
