This is my interpretation of an Irish crochet lace pattern; the pattern was found in a box, along with some others, dating from the late 19th century. Since the clipping was torn and faded, I had to rely upon my own skills and judgement to work out the design. It may also be worked in a smaller hook and thread size, such as a size 20 thread, and a 1.25 hook.
