Poncho may be made in either yarn, but it will be slightly different in size. With smaller needles & the Merino 5 yarn, at a gauge of 20 st/4 inches, the poncho piece will measure 20” wide. Using the larger needles & the Crème yarn, at a gauge of 18 st/4 inches-10 cm., the poncho piece will be 3” wider before seaming.
