Ironwood Cowl
by Dora Violet
Despite having lived my whole life in the Midwest, I’ve never been one to handle this colder months as well as others I know. Perhaps that’s part of why I took a liking to knitting in the first place. It certainly has led me to have a fixation on big cozy cowls to say the least, and this one is no exception.
Squishy brioche stitch combines with a reversible cable for a giant piece you can throw on without worrying if the right side is facing out. The cable rows can feel a bit tight, but once you get pas them it’s back into the more repetitive stitch pattern that comprises the rest of it. This is a good one to practice your brioche stitch on, if you’re wanting an opportunity to brush up on it!
